Stacy Sklaver
Stacy Sklaver - President
Stacy Sklaver founded ArtMatters in 2003 after ten years of art consulting for major firms in the Washington, DC and Baltimore area. She has earned rave reviews from clients for her innovative and sophisticated sense of design in addition to the variety of artists she represents. Her creativity, persistence, passion and belief that research and customer service deserve as much attention as the art she places on the walls, bring immeasurable value and experience to each project.

Stacy has served as the President and Vice President of the Board of Directors at The Metropolitan Center for the Visual Arts in Rockville, MD. She continues to be actively involved at the art center and other local art organizations. She is also a member of IIDA and CREW DC.

Jeffrey Sklaver - Principal
Jeff Sklaver helped found ArtMatters in 2003 and joined the firm on a full-time basis in May 2009 with responsibility for sales and marketing. His ability to effectively translate the client’s vision through the art and his dedication to superior customer service characterizes every project he does.

Judith Heartsong
Judith HeartSong - Art Director
Judith HeartSong works as the art director for ArtMatters. As a professional artist with more than 28 years of experience she seeks out new artists all over the US and abroad, and works with ArtMatters' existing artists to keep projects on track and to come up with dynamic new works for client placement. Judith’s strong sense of design and great eye for color, as well as her dedication to clients and artists, makes her an invaluable resource to ArtMatters.

David Hubbard
Debbie Sotzsky - Art Consultant
Debbie Sotzsky joined ArtMatters in 2011 bringing over 15 years of experience in art sales, consulting, marketing, and custom framing. Her knowledge of fine art, space planning and best practices for framing and installation is what her clients most appreciate. Debbie believes art is an essential part of our everyday life, and she is dedicated to ensuring this vision is realized in every project she completes. She has worked in fine art galleries as well as the Smithsonian. Debbie holds a degree in Art History from the University of Maryland.
